The majority of 2022 had Check spending time with his parents in Montreal, and myself in North Carolina, volunteering at the Cradle of Forestry. It was a strange year, but it flew by quickly for me since I was busy running the Cradle Cafe. In November I left Weepy in NC and flew to Italy where we joined up again. We spent about six weeks in Sardegna, then another six weeks in Turkey. It was the first time I had spent away from Weepy and the RV world, and my first time outside the US other than one trip to Canada a few years ago and a high school road trip to Mexico in 1980. We came back to the States and picked up Weepy in February, and headed for Canada.

Yes, I have pictures, but I've been putting off blogging about our time last winter because I need to do some work on the website. It's getting pretty loaded down with pictures, and I need to spend some time redoing it and making it a bit lighter so I can fit photos that I want to post.

So rest assured, we are traveling and having adventures. We are currently in Nova Scotia and really like it! And obviously are having too much fun for me to take the time to work on the website, I'm afraid. I'll get there. Stay with us!

Ken and Tammy
Ken and Tammy - so glad you found us online! It really was great being neighbors and maybe the next time we meet at Prairie Creek we'll have less smoke to contend with. Enjoy your travels!!
Prairie Creek
Dawn & Check - great to meet you guys & be neighbors in the middle of no where!  Too bad about the smoke in the Sawtooths. Our shared campsite on Prairie Creek was a good one, and we ended hiking up Prairie Creek to Minor Lake (with all the Creek crossings) on our last day. Beautiful!

am I done flying?
I am behind reading your log..am I?  Any way, checking the calendar regularly, I guess I forgot the log.  So here I am, June 12 2020, updating my reading and feeling silly.
Onongava caves
Today I had time on my hands (nurturing a nasty cold since one week) so I traveled through the caves.  Impressive!  Thank you Dawn
Discus
Just moved around your site a bit and after, reading about your decision to move on, I and babbo too (he is now sculpting bears in Pietrasanta), wish you the best of times traveling, resting, and free.

I've replaced the Disqus commenting forum with this simplified way to leave comments. It's not as fancy as Disqus so comments won't be specific to each blog entry, but instead will show every comment submitted. The big advantage is that no one will need to sign up for Disqus to be able to comment.

So feel free to leave comments!
