Looks like our weBoost is a success! After install, we spent a night back at Open Pond Campground since we knew what dismal reception we get there. It really helped, especially on my iPhone, which gets much worse signal than Check's iPad (smaller unit, smaller antenna, I guess). I went from usually having one bar of 3G to two bars of LTE on my iPhone7. Since then we've had it on in a couple of places that already had decent signal, and it does seem to improve it quite a bit. It was a major cost, but we've found out that staying connected is more important to us than we thought it would be at first. Especially now for me, since I have a couple of web sites to maintain.
I added a calendar to the blog page this morning. It's where I hope we can record our campground stays and it looks like it will work really well for that.
And speaking of websites, Check's dad wants us to create a site to showcase his bear carvings now. That will be fun! I seem to have become "The Accidental Webmaster. "
